PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER FOR ANY GOODS. The use of our website and the sale and purchase of goods from it are governed by our terms and conditions as set out below. YOU ARE ADVISED TO PRINT AND RETAIN THEM FOR YOUR RECORDS.
This site is operated by Sophie & Friends (S) Pte Ltd ("Sophie & Friends"), and is registered with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore under the number 200906936D.
The present general conditions of sale apply to all the orders placed with Sophie & Friends for the whole of the articles and services proposed by www.sophie.sg ("Site") by natural persons not business persons.
Sophie & Friends has taken all reasonable care in the preparation of the contents on this Site, but makes no representation or warranty of any kind with respect to the operation of the Site or the information, content, materials or products included on this Site.
To the extent permitted by applicable law,
Sophie & Friends makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or currency of the information contained in any of the materials on the Site.
Sophie & Friends reserves the right to change price and availability information without notice.
Sophie & Friends shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage that may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on the Site.
Sophie & Friends' liability to the buyer shall at no time exceed the price of the goods supplied. The company shall be under no liability for any direct loss and/or expense or any indirect loss and/or expense suffered by the buyer or liability to third parties incurred by the buyer. The company shall be under no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage whether direct or indirect resulting from the supply of goods. The company shall be under no liability whatsoever for the quality and purpose of goods supplied to the buyer or to a third party.
We aim to give a fair representation of the product but all sizes are approximate and colours may vary slightly from those shown due to the limitations of Internet technology.
ORDERS
We shall sell to you and you shall purchase only those goods which you have set out in an order and which has been accepted by us.
We reserve the right to reject any order. Each such sale of goods will be subject to these conditions, which shall govern the contract to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions subject to which any order is made or purported to be made by you.
No order submitted by you shall be deemed to have been accepted by us unless and until confirmed by e-mail or in writing by us.
Orders are accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted if the goods are available, the order reflects current pricing, you are based in the Delivery Area and your credit or account card is authorised for the transaction.
Where goods are temporarily out of stock we will endeavour to contact you so that you may choose between a refund on the item, having it shipped when it is back in stock or selecting an alternative product.
The price of the goods shall be the price set out on the relevant page of this site. We reserve the right to change the prices set out on this site provided that if we accept an order from you the price for the goods will be the price set out in the relevant range at the time the order is placed. The total price is inclusive of postage and packing.
Upon selecting the payment mode, you must proceed with payment on a secure server. You shall confirm and undertake that the information contained within the order is true and accurate and that you are duly authorised to use the selected payment mode and authorise us to deduct from you the full price of the goods and all other payments which may become due to us under the contract.
The deduction of monies from your Payment Card does not mean that we have accepted your order nor does it mean that a contract has been formed between us. In the event that we reject your order we will credit your Payment Card with the amount deducted. Where goods are returned by you in accordance with your rights, and in accordance with our returns policy, we shall credit the Payment Card with the appropriate amount.
PAYMENT
All orders must be paid for either by credit or debit cards, or telegraphic bank transfer. We do not accept payment by cheque or postal order, and you cannot pay in instalments. We accept Visa and Mastercard. All prices are in Singapore Dollars (S$).
For inter-bank telegraphic transfers, you will have to bear all bank charges.
Delivery
You can choose to have your order delivered where you wish: to your home, place of work or friends' premises as long as you correctly indicate the address of delivery.
Orders placed online via the Site are processed everyday from Monday to Friday except public holidays. Sophie & Friends does its utmost to treat and dispatch any order received before 2pm the very same day. Nevertheless the preparation and processing time of an order may be lengthened according to articles, and may require 1 or 2 business days. As of reception of the dispatch confirmation email, you can take into account the transportation times mentioned below. In the case of an order which may comprise one or more Products not immediately available and one or more Products immediately available, Sophie & Friends will dispatch the order as of reception of the whole of the products which comprise the order. If you wish to receive the products immediately available more quickly, he/she is advised to isolate these articles in a separate order.
Sophie & Friends will use Singapore Post (SingPost) services to dispatch the orders to you. the order will be sent via registered for a tracking number where you may trace its delivery status, if parcel is not received within 2 days of dispatch. Singpost deliveries are carried out from Monday to Saturday morning, excluding public holidays.
The parcel will be signed for at the delivery address indicated by you, and will require to be signed for. In the event of you are not present at the moment of delivery, a delivery notice will be left at the address of delivery indicated, allowing you to collect the parcel from the nearest post office indicated in the delivery note. The parcel will only be held at the post office for a limited number of days as indicated in the delivery note. In the event that parcel is not claimed within the time limits allowed by the Singpost, the products will be returned to Sophie & Friends. SECURITY
Security is one of our highest priorities and we take every precaution to protect your personal information both online and offline. Information requested when registering or ordering goods (including your credit / debit card details) is encrypted with SSL (Secure Socket Layer), the industry standard encryption software (this is indicated by a padlock symbol in the bottom right-hand status bar of your web browser and the web address will change from http:// to https://). We will take all reasonable care to keep all information connected with your order secure but we cannot be held liable for any loss that you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data, including credit and account details you provide when accessing or ordering from this web site, unless this is solely due to our negligence.
CONSENT
By disclosing information to us in using this web site, you consent to the collection, storage and processing of that information by Sophie & Friends in the manner as set out in this policy. LEGAL
